This week Pastor Joel begins Part 2 of his message series in the book of the Bible called Romans, “Bold Faith That Wins”. Paul's going to teach us that victory over “that thing that dogs you” starts with recognizing and choosing to live in the new identity that God has given you. Our enemy whispers in our ear, “Are you really sure that you are who God says you are?” And then, of course, the really fun part for him is once it's all over and done and we have failed miserably, he gets in our ear and he gets louder and he says, “I told you you were not who He said you were.” Here are four practices to fight your sin and live in freedom: receive the power of grace, repeat the habits of grace, refuse to depart from grace, and renew obedience under grace.
